Greetings! You are listening to the weekly commentary by yours truly, Paul Cienfuegos.

This week I’m going to do something quite different than what I usually do in my weekly commentaries. I’ve invited my colleague and friend Laurence Cole from Port Townsend, Washington to share some thoughts and a song with you. Laurence is one of the most extraordinary song leaders in the Pacific Northwest, and I’ve had the honor to co-teach with him in both Iowa and here in Portland, Oregon.

Laurence, I know that you think and feel a lot about the state of our world today – about the corporate rule crisis that keeps on growing in all of our communities, and also about the healthier and more peaceful world that you yearn to co-create with others. I’d love it if you would share some of those thoughts and feelings. And perhaps also to sing one of the songs you’ve written on this topic.

[Laurence speaks and sings for about five minutes. Click HERE for the audio version of this commentary to hear Laurence’s words.]

Laurence: Thank you so much for joining me today. If folks want to learn more about Laurence’s work, they can go to LaurenceCole.com.
