CELDF's Thomas Linzey to speak at Earth at Risk Conference in San Francisco, October 16, with Derrick Jensen

CELDF Executive Director Thomas Linzey is one of a small group of key thinkers invited to participate in the day-long Earth at Risk event in San Francisco on October 16, 2010.

He'll be interviewed by author Derrick Jensen in a discussion focusing on corporate rights, rights of nature, and the need for structural change to protect our communities, people, and nature.

This is a full-day event funded by the Wallace Global Fund that will feature conversations with the most compelling thinkers and activists who are critiquing the culture that is destroying our planet. During this daylong event, Derrick Jensen, author and environmental activist will interview people who each hold an impassioned critique of this culture and together explore what can be done to build a serious resistance movement. The other interviewees include Jane Caputi, William Catton, Gail Dines, Lierre Keith, Riki Ott, and Waziyatawin.
